What's the meaning of friendship ? Is it a business that I do a favor to you and then you return it back ? Is it some emotional crap invented by stupid people ? Is it a feeling or a commitment or just a word in dictionary ?
I think it's Love.
Beyond all rational and logical thinking we stick to people around us whom we love... even when they are not related by blood. We might get happy become of them or they might just irritate us to the core.. and still we again meet up, talk silly, unimportant things and move on as if nothing is wrong. Sometimes we feel the belonging... other times we feel dejected because of same people. So then why do we do all this ?
The only satisfactory answer which I could find is that it's because of Love.
As we are love so we seek love and then we are ready to do anything and everything for it.
But what if we have all the love and joy and peace we need ... What if we just don't need anyone for anything ? Will you still make new friends and stick to them in good and bad times ?
If you do then that's called as friendliness which is a rare and exceptional virtue.
I would pray that all of us would move from "friendship" to "friendliness" :)
